MCC (50-90)Complete range of Medium Cement Castables

MEDIUM CEMENT CASTABLE

MCC range of Medium Cement Castable has all the advantage of Conventional & Low Cement Castable with superior properties. They prove to be very cost effective castable due to excellent wear resistant better thermal shock resistance then most Low Cement Castable. which gives longer lining life. These castable come in dry form and 5% to 10% water is added depending on the variety of castable. They are usually mixed in pan mixers for better consistency and then vibro-casted with the help of pin vibrator. These castable usually set within 5 - 7 hours at 35°C and can be safely de-shuttered in 6 - 8 hours after casting.

Unique Advantages
  • High hot strength at all temperatures with no zone of weakness.
  • Sets hard rapidly hence turn round of furnace time is highly reduced.
  • Excellent wear resistant.
  • Thermal shock resistance is better than most Low Cement Castable.
  • Free flow with least vibrations hence easy to install.
  • Increasing strength with rising temperature, a unique feature.
