CONVENTIONAL CASTABLESMedium & high purity range of Conventional Castables

HEAT CRETE SPL & SUPER

'Heat Crete' and 'Heat Crete Super' are scientifically designed ready mixed castable made from PMPL's SUPERBOND, a medium purity calcium aluminate binder and selected refractory grog. These refractory castable are hydraulic setting and can be in-situ cast or molded to any shape and also mixed for gunning of furnace lining.

We manufacture three standard grades namely Heat Crete Normal, Heat Crete Super and Heat Crete Special. There castables comes in packing of 50 Kgs, special HDPE bags with polythene liners. The standard castable is well graded upto 5 mm size and are packed dry for site mixing with recommended quantity of water. Water content for rodding or vibrating should be 10% to 15% by weight of the castable to obtain workable consistency.

Application Procedure :

The wet mixed castable should be prepared at work site only. However under no circumstances should take more than 15 minutes to transport at site. While using castables as roofing materials, wall elements, or as spanning material between supports or as short cantilevers, suitable anchors should be of stainless steel are advised. Anchor should be covered with castable thickness of 50-70 mm. Metal anchors should be coated with 2 to 3 mm of bee wax or bitumen in advance of placement to provide adequate movement of the metallic anchors.

Use least required water to obtain dense casting which leads to higher strength.

WHITE HEAT A-K-C SPL-SUPER

'WHITE HEAT' ranges of conventional castables are scientifically designed ready mixed castable made from PMPL's BESTBOND, a high purity calcium aluminate binder and selected hard burnt dense refractory grog. There refractory castables are hydraulic setting and can be in-situ cast or molded to any shape and also mixed for gunning of furnace lining.

We manufacture three standard grades namely White Heat - A, White Heat - K & White Heat - C. There castable comes in packing of 50 Kgs, special HDPE bags with polythene liners. The standard castables is well graded upto 5 mm size and are packed dry for site mixing with recommended quantity of water. The water content for rodding or vibrating should be 10 to 15 percent by weight of the castable to obtain workable consistency.

Application Procedure :

The wet mixed castable should be prepared at work site only, however under no circumstances should take more than 10 minutes to transport at site. While using casables as roofing materials, wall elements, or spanning material between supports or as short cantilevers, suitable anchors should be firmly secured to the supporting cell. Metal anchors of stainless steel are advised. Anchors should be covered with castable thickness of 50-70 mm. Metal anchors should be coated with 2 to 3 mm of bee wax or bitumen in advance of placement to provide adequate movement of the metallic anchors.

Use least required water to obtain dense casting which leads to higher strength.
