THERMOFIX is a highly refractory mortar capable to withstand temperatures upto 1710°C and is in powder form packed in HDPE bags. It possesses Air-SettingProperties. Thermofix is manufactured from finely ground plastic refractoryclays blended with very special high alumina refractory materials and special chemicals and it contains at least 45% alumina. Apart from good heat resisting property, it also has good bonding strength. Add water slowly andensure that the water content does not exceed 35%, continue mixing mortar for15 - 20 minutes for proper consistency.
Thermofix is recommended for temperatures above 1000°C.
